FAQ

Questions from dog owners.

How often should my dog be groomed?

Dogs with hair that keeps growing (doodles, poodles, shih tzus) usually need a full groom every four to eight weeks. Short-coated dogs do well with a bath and brush every two to three months, plus nail trims in between.

When can my puppy have its first groom?

Once your vet says their puppy shots are underway, usually from around twelve weeks. Early, gentle visits make grooming much easier for life.

What if my dog is matted?

Brushing out heavy mats is painful, so we shave matted areas short and let the coat grow back healthy. We'll show you how to keep it brushed at home.

Do you sedate dogs?

Never. If a dog is too stressed, we stop, call you and plan shorter visits instead.

Can I stay with my dog?

Most dogs settle faster once their owner leaves. We text you updates, and you're welcome to stay for a puppy's first visit.

Where are you, and what are your hours?

We're in Idaho Falls, Idaho, open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm. A real client site shows the street address and a map here.

Bath day, minus the mess at home.
